At Nuer Makuei International Organization Society (N-MIOS), we believe that education is a powerful tool for restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity. For refugees and displaced people, access to learning not only equips them with knowledge but also provides a path to healing and long-term resilience.
Supporting elementary, intermediate, and secondary school levels to ensure a continuous quality learning journey.
Providing opportunities for older learners to gain basic education and essential life skills.
Equipping youth and adults with practical skills for employment and income generation.
Training and deploying qualified volunteer teachers with tools to deliver effective education.
Ensuring students receive at least one nutritious meal per day to support health and attendance.
Renting and rehabilitating buildings to create accessible classrooms and learning hubs.
Since launching our strategic plan, we have trained over 100 teachers and reached thousands of learners. We aim to increase enrollment, eliminate illiteracy, and foster a culture of inclusion, with a special focus on girls' education.
